Sri Lankan who bat first and made 255 runs in 50.0 overs match was played at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Dambulla.
Sri Lankan`s batsmen do their best but Pakistan bowlers also bowled very well and restricts Sri Lanka on 255 runs which was not a big total in ODI Cricket.
Muhammad Hafeez who taken 4 wickets in 10 overs which was the good enough bowling record for any bowlers in ODI.

Later on when Pakistani team Chasing 256 runs, openers Azhar Ali and Ahmed Shehzad got Pakistan off to a good start, before Angelo Mathews removed his counterpart in his second over.Soon Suranga Lakmal took Ahmed Shehzad wicket then Mohammad Hafeez and Babar Azam batting well and made the innings with a fifty runs partnership and later on Tillakaratne Dilshan trapped the Baber Azam and got his wicket on 25 runs.
Muhammad Hafeez though was positive at one end and after passing his fifty, upped the ante and played some excellent counterattacking cricket, His heroic innings helped Pakistan to chase down the total with 28 ball and 6 wickets in hand.
Shoaib Malik also complete his fifty runs and played not out 55 runs inning.
